Metrics report
The InterContinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort submits monthly reports on its water and electricity consumption through two tools: IHG GreenEngage and GreenView Sustainability. These tools provide support in our projects and allow us to see our progress, and continually improve.
We continually measure our energy and water consumption with comprehensive benchmarking systems, using the information collected to monitor and reduce usage.
Energy Management
Our property has achieved 73% LED lighting. Our kitchen and laundry facilities are powered by solar water heaters. In the bungalows, air conditioning is regulated by a door sensor. An energy audit has just been conducted to enable us to further advance in our action plan.
Facilities
We encourage the ongoing development and integration of sustainable technologies, such as solar panels, to provide energy. Also, we have invested in efficient, cutting-edge air conditioners to ensure energy savings.
Selecting more energy-efficient equipment is a priority in our equipment replacements.
Water Management
100% of the bungalows are equipped with water reducers. We are also aware that access to clean water is a luxury: 100% of the water used for the gardens is sourced from recycled water.
